It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like…A Tree Lighting Ceremony!

As the holidays draw near, many towns around the US hold tree-lighting ceremonies to kick off the season. Parker Colorado holds a large lighting and celebration annually complete with dancers and of course a visit from the friendly pudgy guy bearing gifts, Santa.

This year, Richter Scale Productions provided some lighting support for the big event and staging services.

Richter Rocks All Musical Genres

From rap to country to jazz to classical, Richter-Scale Productions has provided sound, lighting, staging, effects and production to thousands of professional musical acts over the years.

Last weekend Country crooner Clay Walker performed at Apache Gold Casino while soul and funk master hit the stage at Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler.

Richter Scale offered lighting, sound and stage support for both of these shows!

Mt. St. Vincent Silver Bell Ball Rings In The Season

The Silver Bell Ball began with cocktails and a silent auction followed by dinner, program, including musical entertainment, as well as live auction. It is sponsored by the Guild of Mount St. Vincent and WB2 Charities, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation.

This important event is held annually and benefits this home for children.

Richter Scale provided full sound and audio visual services for this important charitable function!

Melissa Etheridge Rocks Wild Horse Pass

Rock icon Melissa Etheridge took to the stage this weekend at Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino. Richter Scale Productions provided lighting design and audio engineering at this sold out show.

Etheridge rocked for 1.5 hours and played many of her famous hits including, “Come to my Window” and “The Only One.”

Add Award Winning Pies to Our List of Many Talents

One of our Phoenix employees is a pie-baking sensation at this year’s Arizona State Fair!

Annie Glenn competed in this year’s Culinary Contest at the Fair. She’s dreamt of winning a blue ribbon at the Fair for her baked creations! She entered hoping to make that dream a reality.

Annie’s been baking for as long as she can remember. Her first job was working in a bakery.

Annie entered two pies in Division 526 (Pies Open); a Blueberry and a Pecan. “I’ve baked many pies over the last few months… trying to get my recipes just perfect for this,” Annie said.

Items were dropped off for judging on Tuesday, October 11^th. Pies were judged on appearance, flavor, texture of crust, and texture of filling.

Winners in all Culinary Divisions were announced at the State Fair on Friday, October 14^th. Annie won ribbons for both pies.

Her Blueberry Pie won 1^st Place. And her Pecan Pie won 3^rd. She was also entered in a C&H Sugar Special Awards Contest alongside. She will be winning a certificate for several pounds of C&H sugar!

Congrats to Annie! Since the win, her homemade pie baking requests have gone up tenfold!

Denver Do At The Zoo

We had a roaring good time at this year’s “Denver Do At the Zoo” event back in June. We provided the stage, lighting and sound for this annual fundraiser. Guests sipped on cocktails and feasted on some of Denver’s hautest cuisine while rocking out to the area’s finest entertainment!
